CGOC — A Professional Community on Retention & Preservation
CGOC was founded in January 2004 by PSS Systems to create a forum where corporate counsel, compliance and records executives, and experts from the judiciary and Bar can convene to explore and expand the best practices for retention and preservation. Today, CGOC has a very strong following from corporate practitioners and a distinguished cadre of experts that help inform their decision making. Through a variety of executive events, working sessions and an annual Summit, we bring together corporate practitioners and topic experts; this forum is increasingly shaping the discussion on reasonable approaches to retention and legal holds.
To receive invitations to upcoming events and for access to the CGOC subject matter expert (SME) portal, please register here. You can view the webcast replays from prior events and access event proceedings in the portal. 2006 events included an intensive bootcamp on enterprise retention programs and legal holds processes with experts from Citigroup, TD Bank, Raytheon, Halliburton, Ernst & Young, Skadden Arps, Sullivan Cromwell, and others.
Fall and Winter events will include the annual January CGOC Summit in New York, regional working lunches, and webcasts with experts from Sprint, Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, and experts such as former Judge Ronald J. Hedges.
